SR-9011 is a synthetic small-molecule agonist of the nuclear receptors REV-ERBα (NR1D1) and REV-ERBβ (NR1D2), members of the nuclear receptor superfamily that function as ligand-dependent transcriptional repressors. Activation of REV-ERB receptors influences transcriptional regulatory networks through recruitment of corepressor complexes, including NCoR and HDAC3, resulting in suppression of target gene expression.
